Embedded in the brand-new Section of Biomedical Informatics & Data Science, Akio offers high-level administrative support at the cutting edge of computing infrastructure and development. Now jumping into the deep end of AI and medicine after graduating with a BA in History of Science, she is also the Section's newsletter editor, graphic designer and communications specialist, supporting activities from the Rising Star seminar series to web development for the Yale Biomedical Informatics & Computing office. Akio delivers proven marketing strategies in culturally diverse settings with five additional years of intern experience in operations, communications, and education.
