Biography
Dr. Aakriti Adhikari is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale School of Medicine, working with Dr. Tsung-Ting Kuo as her postdoctoral advisor. Her research focuses on decentralized, privacy-preserving predictive modeling and biomedical blockchain for secure healthcare data sharing.
She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina, where she worked with Dr. Sanjib Sur at the SyReX Lab on advancing next-generation wireless devices for contactless health sensing. Her doctoral work, recognized with the Best Doctoral Consortium Award at the CMD-IT/ACM Richard Tapia Conference and a nomination for the C.C. Royal Fellowship.
In addition to her research, Dr. Adhikari serves as a reviewer for leading journals, has received student travel grants to premier venues including ACM MobiCom, IEEE INFOCOM, ACM HotMobile, and ACM MobiSys, and is committed to advancing women in computing, having been awarded scholarships to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) and the CRA-WP Grad Cohort for Women.
