Hua Xu, PhD, Robert T. McCluskey Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale School of Medicine, has received a $977,811 administrative supplement from the National Institute of Mental Health to support the IMPACT-MH initiative. The project aims to improve the characterization of mental disorders by integrating behavioral, clinical, and biological data to generate computational phenotypes. Through coordinated data management, standardized frameworks, and advanced analytics, the work seeks to enhance diagnostic accuracy, personalize treatment, and improve patient outcomes. The funding period is June 27, 2025, through April 30, 2026.
