Let's Talk Data: How to use the NIH All of Us Tutorial

About the Talk
Join Maxwell Salvatore, PhD, MPH, Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, for a hands-on tutorial exploring how to leverage the NIH All of Us Research Program data for biomedical and public health research. Dr. Salvatore will demonstrate approaches for studying the risks, benefits, and pharmacogenomics of GLP-1 receptor agonists (RAs) using electronic health records (EHR) and EHR-linked biobank data. This session is ideal for researchers and students interested in learning how to navigate, analyze, and apply large-scale health datasets in precision medicine and population health.

About the Speaker

Dr. Maxwell Salvatore is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Yong Chen in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics and Dr. Marylyn Ritchie in the Department of Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania. His work focuses on developing principled methods for analyzing electronic health record–linked biobanks and making these tools more accessible to researchers. His research has spanned topics including COVID-19, digestive cancers, diabetes, and obesity, with an emphasis on precision medicine and health equity.
