With appreciation for his generosity and partnership, former resident, Dr. Paul Tabereaux, HS ’05, helped to boost medical student support in a major way in December by matching ALL Alumni Fund contributions, up to $100K! Kicking off on Giving Tuesday, November 28 through December 31, the YSM Alumni Fund raised an additional $419,317 to support the YSM student experience. Here are just a few successes from the year-end challenge:
- The Fund welcomed 55 new and reacquired alumni and friends to the donor community.
- Over 100 donors made a gift larger than the previous year.
- 9 gifts were received at the $10K+ leadership level. 3 alumni donors have named one-year Dorothy Horstmann Scholarships.
- 76% of gifts received were $500 and under.
- Many gifts included tributes to family members, faculty, mentors, and friends who had an impact on the donor’s Yale experience.
