Thursday, March 28 – MEDG: “Culinary Medicine and the Future of Nutrition Education” by Chef Nathan Wood, MD

The lack of nutrition education in medical school and residency is a structural contributor to diet-related disease in the patients we see in our practices. In this session, we will explore the culinary medicine approach—featuring a plant-forward diet—to teaching hands-on nutrition to both trainees and patients, with the goal being to improve health through evidence-based changes in dietary habits. We will discuss actionable steps that you can take to improve the health-promoting potential of your own dietary habits, illustrating how even small, simple changes can empower healthier living.

Visit the Center for Medical Education website for details and dates for all YES! and Medical Education Discussion Group (MEDG) sessions.
