Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Medicine); Medical Director, Wednesday Evening Medical Student Clinic

Since joining the faculty of the Department of Internal Medicine in 2008, I have been involved in the education of Yale medical student and internal medicine residents. As a med-peds trained physician I take pride in providing comprehensive patient care. Most of my time is spent in the internal medicine Primary Care Center precepting residents as they care for their patient panel in their outpatient clinic throughout their residency training.

I have been the medical director of the internal medicine ambulatory elective/sub-I also know as Wednesday Evening Clinic (WEC) for over a decade now. As this is a longitudinal ambulatory clinical experience for medical students, WEC has given me the opportunity to form strong student-teacher relationships and to be a mentor and informal coach to students as well. Being able to contribute to medical students' and residents' growth throughout their training has been most rewarding to me. As a longitudinal coach I am looking forward to helping students navigate their medical training and to supporting them in reaching their goals towards a fulfilling career.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Having lived in different countries throughout my life, I appreciate and admire the various cultures, landscapes, languages, and cuisines of this world and aim to experience as many as I can.
