Varun V Bansal

Varun Bansal, MBBS, is a research associate under Dr. Kiran Turaga in the Division of Surgical Oncology. He joins Yale from the University of Chicago, where he began his postdoctoral research training after completing medical school. His research focuses on outcomes following Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy for disseminated abdominal malignancies and investigating biomarkers for early detection of peritoneal recurrence and disease progression in patients with colorectal and appendiceal cancer.
