DEM Faculty elected to positions with Society for Academic Emergency Medicine

The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is pleased to announce that DEM faculty, Pooja Agrawal MD, MPH, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM). We are also excited that Wendy Sun, MD was elected as President of the SAEM Residents and Medical Students (RAMS).

An Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Global Health Education with the Section of Global Health & International Emergency Medicine, Dr. Agrawal is also past Board President of the Academy for Women in Academic Emergency Medicine, where she also served as chair of the Global Health Committee and as Treasurer. Dr. Sun is a second-year resident in the Yale Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
