RNA is transforming our understanding of fundamental cell biology and creating new opportunities to diagnose and treat human disease. This rapidly evolving field includes the discovery of new classes of RNA molecules and growing recognition that disruptions in RNA metabolism contribute to a broad range of diseases.
The mission of the Yale Center for RNA Science and Medicine is to foster collaboration among Yale’s world-class RNA scientists, clinicians, and physician-scientists.
Our goals are to advance cutting-edge RNA research, promote cross-disciplinary collaborations, deepen understanding of fundamental molecular mechanisms and disease processes, and accelerate the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
