Research & Scholarship

There are over 88 full time faculty psychologists within the Department of Psychiatry. These faculty members are leaders in the field and in their areas of specialty, as evidenced by their record of grants, publications, awards, and roles in professional organizations and government-sponsored boards and committees. In addition to their leadership responsibilities in clinical care and education, the faculty lead active research programs and have established a number of research centers at the medical school in the areas of addiction, psychotherapy development, interdisciplinary stress research, women’s health, recovery from mental illness, prevention and consultation, and on eating and weight disorders.
