Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH) provides specialized psychiatric care to adults and adolescents. Psychiatric care for children is provided under the auspices of Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. All programs are handicapped accessible.

Adult Outpatient Clinic

Yale New Haven Hospital Outpatient Clinic offers psychiatric evaluation, group psychotherapy, medication management, for adult 18 years of age or older. Brief, focused individual interventions are also available. Clients may attend several groups a week. Dual Diagnosis, trauma, peer support and wellness groups are available in addition to traditional psychotherapy groups. Parking on site.

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs

The Adolescent IOP provides treatment to adolescents ages twelve to eighteen who require treatment for psychiatric disorders of either acute or prolonged duration. Psychiatric illnesses most commonly treated include, but are not limited to, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Adjustment Disorders. An interdisciplinary approach is utilized to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. We have two locations:
