Biography
Dr. Karen Medin is Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale specializes in epilepsy. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Medin has developed expertise in epilepsy clinical practice, EEG, general neurologic care, and has a key area of interest in Neurologic/Epilepsy care in the veteran population. She currently practices in the Veteran Affair Healthcare system. She acts as the Associate Director of Neurology in the Newington VA and as the Director of the Epilepsy Center of Excellence in West Haven. She completed her medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by residency at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital and then Neurology at Stony Brook University Hospital. She completed her fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Neurophysiology/IOM. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Medin is a dedicated educator serving as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale mentoring numerous residents, fellow, and students.
