Multiplex Viral Sequencing (mVseq)

Viral infections are a major cause of complications and death in solid organ and hematopoietic cell transplantation. Clinical viral diagnostics is currently available for only a few transplant-relevant viruses, potentially limiting the optimal use of personalized immunosuppressive therapy. We developed a multiplex viral sequencing assay (mVseq) to simultaneously detect 20 DNA viruses from small clinical samples. This assay is flexible and scalable to incorporate RNA viruses and emerging viruses of interest.
