We welcome scientists to join the Schaefer lab as we embark on this journey into complex cellular communities! We are actively recruiting undergraduate and graduate researchers and postdoctoral scholars.

Our research is well-aligned with graduate students who seek to develop and leverage leading-edge chemical biology tools, proteomic and small molecule mass spectrometry, structural biology (cryo-EM), microbiology, and immunology techniques. We are also excited to work with postdocs with expertise in these areas and synthetic organic chemistry who are interested in biological discovery.
