Makhani Lab

The Makhani lab is part of the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine. Our lab’s work is largely translational and involves collaborations with radiologists and immune-biologists. Our work is focused on studying Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and related neuro-immunological disorders in children. Our specific goal is to identify risk factors for these conditions in children and to translate our findings to the development of interventions to prevent disease.
