What is your role in the Department of Internal Medicine?

I am a senior coordinator for the Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, Advanced Endovascular Interventions Fellowship, Advanced Structural Heart Disease Interventions Fellowship, and Advanced Electrophysiology Fellowship programs in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine.     

Why did you decide to work at Yale School of Medicine?

There is something very powerful about being surrounded by intellectual exchange.

How did you become interested in your line of work?

I have always cared deeply about helping others, and I enjoy finding solutions and making a positive impact.

Tell us about a project you are proud of.

I am in a study group for the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education Certification (C-TAGME) exam. This certification represents a significant achievement. By earning this credential, I will have demonstrated to employers, colleagues, and prospective fellowship applicants that I possess the essential expertise and abilities to excel as a fellowship coordinator.

What is the most rewarding part of your career?

Getting paid for something you love doing is priceless.

What do you enjoy about working at Yale?

Networking and personal growth! I enjoy building strong relationships that will stay with me for a lifetime. Continuous professional development keeps me engaged and motivated—it’s a rewarding path!

What is a favorite pastime?

Having five kids was fun.
