Campbell is a Yale College undergraduate majoring in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. Campbell is investigating the neuroimmune genetics of cardiovascular disease, especially in type 1 diabetes.

Outside his academic pursuits, he enjoys playing piano and running.
