The AlagsLab approach to diversity models the lab’s interdisciplinary and integrative approach to research. We strive to include the research contributions of all individuals with different perspectives and experiences in order to foster an inclusive environment that supports innovative and rigorous research. Our lab’s efforts start with equitable treatment and attention to the wellbeing of all members so that they can provide their best research contributions and have their best training experiences. The lab purposefully strives to achieve an inclusive and welcoming environment by showing support and respect for one another, without regard to cultural beliefs or other individual characteristics.
