The Bioinformatics Resource currently offers the following services:
- Assistance with and support of existing software provided by the Bioinformatics Core.
- Consultation on DNA/protein sequence, microarray, protein structure, pathway analysis.
- Collaborative work on bioinformatics projects.
The Keck Biostatistics Resource was established in 2002 and has been directed by Dr. Hongyu Zhao. This resource specializes in statistical and computational analysis of various types of biological and biomedical data, such as gene expression, genotyping, mass spectrometry, next generation sequencing, and many others. Staff members within this unit are biostatisticians and research scientists with many years of experience in data analysis, methodology development, and service to the research community. They also contribute to the research design, and grant and manuscript preparations. The Biostatistics Resource works closely with other Keck resources to provide outstanding consulting service to scientists and doctors at Yale and other institutions throughout the country.
