Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA)
The facility houses a state of the art Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) instrument: ZetaView® x30, Next Generation Nanoparticle Tracking Analyzer from Particle Matrix.
NTA is a universal tool for measuring and counting nanoparticles.
The analytical features of the ZetaView QUATT system:
- Rapid analysis; typically 10-15 minutes
- Ability to analyze samples of various chemical nature (nanoparticles, exosomes, liposomes et c.)
- Ability to measure zeta potential
- Ability to track particles and measure their size at the level of single particles by light scattering and fluorescence
- Ability to use four lasers: 405, 488, 520 and 640nm that are accessible without any hardware manipulations
- Capability to co-localize the fluorescence signal with scattering signal to identify the exact subpopulation that carries the fluorescent label at a single particle level
Key applications for ZetaView® x30
Bio-nanoparticles:
- Extracellular Vesicles (EVs)
- Exosomes
- Liposomes & Micelles
- Protein Agglomerates
- Viruses & Virus-Like-Particles (VLPs)
- Drug Delivery
- Fluorescent-labelled NPs
