We are excited to announce an opening for the Associate Program Director for Assessment and Academic Development to support the growth and integrity of our General Surgery Residency Program. This role will help in developing and maintaining systems of bidirectional assessment of faculty and residents. This role will also focus on a structured mentorship program for general surgery residents during the research years.
The Associate Program Director for Assessment and Academic Development will collaborate closely with the VC of Education, Program Director, Associate Program Directors, Educational Administrator and Education Office staff to manage both the long-term and daily operations of the General Surgery Residency, alongside the department’s specialty training programs.
Dr. Mehra Golshan, Interim Vice Chair of Education, is leading the internal search. Full-time faculty from all surgical specialties are encouraged to apply.
