Under the Directorship of Dr. Gerard Kerins the Fellowship Program in Geriatric Medicine is open to qualified MD candidates who have finished a internship and residency in an U.S. ACGME accredited program in Internal Medicine and who have completed rotations in geriatrics. Each fellow will gain formal training in teaching, will be the primary educator for medical students, internal medicine residents, and specialists, e.g., residents and faculty in surgery and gynecology. Fellows will learn how to use a variety of resources, including web-based teaching materials, virtual patients, small-group workshops for medical students, resident curriculum design, and program evaluation.
