Geriatric Medicine

We have filled all our positions for the July 1, 2021 start date and will begin accepting applications when eRAS reopens in Summer of 2021.

Our clinical fellowship in geriatric medicine seeks exceptional MD/DO candidates who have finished an internship and residency in a US, ACGME Accredited Program in Internal Medicine. We are dedicated to ensuring that fellows receive rich and comprehensive clinical experiences. There are abundant opportunities at Yale to pursue interests in education, research, and health care policy. Graduates of our program now occupy leadership positions in geriatrics across the country.

We also offer an integrated two-year Geriatric Medicine and Hospice Palliative Care track which affords the opportunity to be eligible for ACGME certification in both specialties. Fellows complete al required rotations in Geriatrics and Hospice/Palliative care medicine in designated rotations lasting 16 months. Fellows will also have 8 months of designated time for leadership and educational activities over the course of the two year period.

Our Class of 2020 created the wonderful video below about their training in the Yale Clinical Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. Please also view the video on GME Training at Yale.
