We are excited to announce that Dr. Gargi Vora will be joining the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science as an Assistant Professor starting July 1st, 2023. She has travelled to Connecticut with her husband and 8-year-old twin boys and will be seeing cornea and comprehensive patients in our New Haven and Madison offices.
Dr. Vora received her undergraduate degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005, her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2009, and she continued on to complete an internal medicine internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2010. In 2013 Dr. Vora completed her ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and in 2015 she completed her fellowship at Duke University Eye Center. Dr. Vora is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Her addition will further strengthen the anterior segment service as we expand our faculty and expand geographically in Connecticut.
