Ways to Give
Sight: it’s a gift that enables us to see our loved ones, admire a painting, and enjoy a sunset. It’s one of the five senses, so central that it’s used in myriad expressions. Leaders are asked for their "vision." Opposing sides are urged to see "eye-to-eye." Beauty is in the "eye" of the beholder. Yale Eye Center celebrates the gift of sight. It’s our life’s work to preserve this gift of sight and provide compassionate patient-centered care to this effort. Yale Eye Center has been a key player in developing medical and surgical advances in protecting sight, and we’re uniquely positioned to remain at the forefront of scientific discovery. To help us in this effort, we’re seeking to attract philanthropic support to fund crucial needs in cutting-edge patient care, leading basic translational and clinical research, broad based medical education and new technologies, to offer innovative ways to treat, prevent and cure diseases of the eye.
Yale Eye Center has a long track record of unparalleled excellence in advancing the understanding and treatment of retinal diseases and other eye conditions that cause vision loss and blindness. Your support of the Eye Center can help fund our world-class diagnostic and treatment facilities, physicians and scientists. Your investment will enable us to continue unrivaled patient care to all who find their sight threatened by illness or injury. The need today is even greater as we strive for innovative therapies to preserve sight from such conditions as glaucoma, macular degeneration and other eye diseases that are still major causes of blindness.
When you make a gift, your contribution can be put to work immediately, either by providing support for current programs or creating reliable sources to expand Yale Eye Center’s endowment.
