DICE provides outreach to strengthen the pipeline of diverse individuals for healthcare and biomedical careers; in regard to diversity, our ultimate goal is to identify and recruit talented individuals from diverse backgrounds. To accomplish this, we partner with trainees and faculty to support pipeline programs at every stage of education:
Medical Student Affinity Groups
DICE works directly with medical student groups such as:
- Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA)
- Medical Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses at Yale School of Medicine (MSDCI)
- Outpatient
- South Asian Medically-oriented Students Association (SAMoSA)
- Medical Student Diversity Council
- Student National Medical Association (SNMA) / Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)
- Yale First Generation/Low Income (YFLI)
