Research Summary
My interests lie primarily in surgical education. Specifically, I am involved in studies in operative autonomy and how that relates to competency based education of surgical residents. Recently, with The COVID-19 pandemic, I have initiated virtual training for medical students. I am currently studying the effectiveness of this novel tool for vascular surgical education
Furthermore, I am also interested in thermal imaging as a way to assess blood flow and as a potential use for bedside diagnostics for both PVD as well as dialysis access.
