Michael Ancuta, MD

Dr. Michael Ancuta is Associate Director of Clinical Operations in the Division of Perioperative and Adult Anesthesia and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. He received his medical degree from the Universitatea de Medicina Si Farmacie Carol Davila in Romania in 2007 and completed two residency programs, one in Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital and another in Anesthesia at Yale New Haven Hospital. In 2016, Dr. Ancuta joined the Yale University School of Medicine faculty as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. In his role as Director of Clinical Operations, Dr. Ancuta oversees clinical scheduling matters and oversees daily operations in the SPA/NPOR.
