Overview
I am currently a PI in a trial for laparoscopic-assisted Transversus Abdominis Plane Block (TAP Block ) in undergoing laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries. I was a PI or assistant PI in multiple researches including multi-center. One of the most recent studies which is ready for publishing was about the effect of uterine manipulator in laparoscopic staging for endometrial cancer. I was part of multi-center research for surgical findings for breast cancer patients who were undergoing laparoscopic oophorectomy.

Overview
Farinaz Seifi, MD, is a gynecologic surgeon who specializes in advanced minimally invasive techniques.
“Combined with minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, we offer enhanced recovery after surgery,” Dr. Seifi says. “When I see my patients go home the day of surgery, even after complex cases, and return to their daily life within a few days, that is the best feeling for me as a physician.”
When she is reassuring patients, Dr. Seifi says she tells them she will help them find the best option for them. “I emphasize the least invasive treatment. Offering them the best care possible is our first priority at Yale,” she says.
Dr. Seifi specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for large uterine fibroids, severe endometriosis, and hysterectomies. She is also an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at Yale School of Medicine.
