Pathology Resident Ambassadors

Dear Future Pathologists,

Welcome to Yale! We're so glad you're here.

Not long ago, we were exactly where you are: juggling interview schedules, comparing programs, and trying to figure out what a place is really like once the official presentations are over. That's why we started the Resident Ambassador program. We want you to be able to hear directly from us.

Ask us anything. What sign-out actually looks like. How busy a typical week gets. Whether we have time for life outside the hospital (we do!). Where to get the best pizza in New Haven. No question is too small.

To be a true peer resource available for your candid questions, we are not involved in the resident interview or selection process.

Reach out anytime (contact us in the blue box below), whether you have a question mid-interview season, you're weighing your rank list, or you'd just like to talk with a few more residents after your visit. Someone is always checking the inbox, and we'll get back to you within a few days.

Most of all, we hope you get a real sense of what it means to train here: the people, the culture of our department, and life in New England.
