Biographical Info

Dr. Petrylak’s national leadership on clinical trials for men with prostate and bladder cancer enables Smilow to bring new treatment options to patients in Connecticut, especially those with hormone refractory prostate cancer and advanced stage disease. Dr. Petrylak currently serves as the Principal Investigator or co-Principal Investigator on seven Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) clinical trials for genitourinary cancers, and is currently head of the advanced bladder section of SWOG.
