Biographical Info

Dr. Brewster is a clinician educator in the Department of Medicine. She did her undergraduate work at Yale college and then went to Dartmouth Medical School. Her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency was at Yale New Haven Hospital. Following this, she did her fellowship at Yale in Nephrology and stayed on as faculty in the Nephrology Section.
As a clinician-educator, Dr. Brewster's focus is primarily on the care of patients with renal disease and on the education of the fellows and housestaff. She functions as the associate program director for the nephrology fellowship program and is the Firm Chief of the Peters medical firm.
In her clinical practice, she focuses on the overlap of pregnancy and high blood pressure and/or concurrent kidney disease, young adults with kidney disease, end-stage renal disease and acute hospital nephrology care.
