Hi everyone,
As some of you know, I’ve been under the weather for a few days, so this PD Note will be short. Thankfully, it’s nothing serious and I’m on the mend, and today’s goal is to sit in the garden, absorb some sunshine, and listen to the birds. A special thank you to my PCCSM colleagues, Margaret Pisani, Wonnie Ryu, and Stephen Baldassarri, for covering me in the MICU, no questions asked. That’s how families treat each other.
Since today is Mother’s Day, I want to wish all the mothers and children of mothers out there a wonderful day. If I’ve learned anything in life about patience, love, and compassion it was from my mom, shown here back in March, when we were both vaccinated and finally got to see each other:
