Biography
I grew up in Chicago and underwent medical school and residency training at Rush University/Cook County Hospital. Then, I completed a fellowship in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery here at Yale in 2020 where I was trained in both laparoscopy and robotics. My fiancé and I trekked down south to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I joined as an Assistant Professor and Associate Fellowship Program Director for Bariatric and MIS Surgery. We were fortunate enough to be both recruited back to Yale when great opportunities arose and we are ecstatic to be able to call CT home again. My interests are in the surgical treatments of obesity, hernia, and foregut diseases, and I strive to delivery these therapies in the least invasive ways possible.
