About Us

Our mission is simple and can be summed up in three points:

• Our first responsibility is to children with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and their families. The goal of our family-centered care is to set the standard for the treatment of children with T1D around the world.

• An essential means to achieve our goal of optimal care of childhood diabetes is to carry out cutting-edge research aimed at developing and evaluating improved treatments for T1D. Through patient-oriented diabetes research, we will to transform the landscape of diabetes care and provide our patients with a far healthier future.

• Advances in treatment of childhood diabetes will be slowed and new medications and devices will be wasted if there are not enough pediatric clinicians and investigators. We are committed to training the next generation of pediatric practitioners and researchers in the treatment and study of T1D.
