Phillip Kong

Phil (he/him) is an MD-PhD student from Toronto, Canada. He graduated from Pomona College with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Philosophy. After graduation, he worked in the Mancias Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston to define mechanisms of therapeutic resistance in pancreatic cancer. At Yale, his research interests are in cancer evolution and therapeutics. In his free time, Phil enjoys watching and playing sports, meal prepping, and reading science fiction.
