Biography
Allie is an MD-PhD student from Calabasas, California. She earned a B.S. in Biology and a minor in creative writing from Stanford University in 2025. From 2020 to 2021, prior to matriculating at Stanford, Allie worked as a research assistant and study coordinator on Long COVID and mRNA vaccine studies at Stanford School of Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Kari Nadeau. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in the lab of Dr. Erin Mordecai studying the ecology of vector-borne disease. For her senior honors thesis, Allie built a machine learning model to predict occurrence of the parasitic disease Leishmaniasis in Brazil based on variables related to deforestation, reforestation, climate change and land-use change.
