About the Ludwig Program
Mission
The Carol & Gene Ludwig Program for the Study of Neuroimmune Interactions in Dementia aims to transform the field of neuroinflammation with the goal of identifying new pathways and interactions, facilitating fundamental discoveries across many platforms, and providing new nodes for therapeutic intervention.
Goals
The Ludwig Program is dedicated to these goals:
- Effectively bridging Yale’s world-class presence in immunobiology and neuroscience to transform our understanding of neuro-immune interactions
- Supporting exceptionally creative scientists to pursue highly innovative research
- Stimulating collaborative research across disciplines
- Developing innovative new technologies that will power new discoveries in neuroinflammation
- Building robust and diverse education, training, and outreach programs in neuroinflammation
