Associate Research Scientist in Pathology

Biography

I am a trained biochemist with expertise in cancer cell signaling and immunobiology, focusing specifically on biomarker discovery. My current research aims to investigate the regulators of HLA class I antigen-presenting machinery (APM) that are implicated in the evasion of tumor cells from adaptive immune recognition, as well as the correlation of these phenotypes with immunotherapy outcomes. I have developed expertise in mechanism-based discovery of biomarkers utilizing high-throughput molecular assays and in designing therapeutic strategies for the treatment of human solid tumors. I believe that my ongoing research program holds significant clinical and therapeutic relevance, which could positively influence patient care.
