Fourteen Department of Surgery faculty were honored at an evening reception held on Oct. 9, 2024 in the Sterling Hall of Medicine Rose Garden. Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs Dr. Benjamin Judson presented the honors — among them, 12 rank promotions; and the formal appointments of Dr. Raul Guzman, Donald Guthrie Professor of Surgery and Dr. Bohdan Pomahac, Frank F. Kanthak Professor of Surgery.
