  • Postgraduate Associate

    Eesha graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2025 with a B.S. in neuroscience and minors in global health and entrepreneurship. Her passion for neurology stems from both academic curiosity and personal experiences with neurodegenerative disease. She is eager to contribute to the evolving field of neurology. Outside the lab, she loves running and cooking.

  • Postdoctoral Associate

    Kristof earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree in biology from Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. He then earned his doctorate from the same university, having studied the inhibitory role of complement receptor 2 (CR2, CD21) on the B cell receptor (BCR) in human B cells. He is primarily interested in antigen discovery and understanding the role of BCR in the development of autoantibody-producing B cells. Outside of work, Kristof is into traveling and cycling.

    Alex Ozonoff recently graduated from Duke University with a degree in biology. His interests include translational medicine, biomarker development, and care access. He is currently preparing to enter medical school. Outside the lab, Alex is into fitness, swimming, and playing piano.

    Dr Bhaskar Roy is a specialist in neuromuscular disorders. His clinical areas of expertise includes muscular dystrophies, inflammatory myopathies (polymyositis, dermatomyositis, inclusion body myositis), autoimmune neuromuscular disorders, including inflammatory neuropathies. He did his neurology residency from the University of Connecticut and completed his fellowship from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.

    He is board certified in neurology (2016) and neuromuscular medicine (2018) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and in electrodiagnostic medicine (2018), and in Neuromuscular Ultrasound (2020) by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM).

Sheena Hussain

Sheena is a Khorana Program Research Scholar visiting our lab for the summer of 2025. She is a medical student from Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. She is passionate about translational medicine, with a focus on high-throughput antigen discovery platforms. Outside the lab, Sheena loves reading, art, and music.
