Postdoctoral Associate

I completed my PhD under Dr. John Lueck from the University of Rochester, studying calcium channel dysfunction in myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) and its impact on muscle health. I specialized in various molecular and physiological assays that helped characterize novel murine models and validate the repurposing of FDA-approved calcium channel blockers. As an early investigator, my ultimate goal is to continue doing patient-focused research in the field of neuromuscular disorders.
