Welcome to Christian Ruiz as a Postdoctoral Associate in the lab! Christian completed his PhD in Genetics from SUNY Stony Brook University in August 2019. Christian's prior work focused on understanding the function of oncogenic KRAS in regulating lipogenesis in lung cancer cells. As he starts in the lab, Christian will be exploring the role of the tumor suppressor gene p53 in metabolic regulation of early cancer progression.
