Yifei received her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in cognitive science and mathematical economics. Yifei will work with Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle and the Creativity and Emotions team as a postgraduate associate at the YCEI. She will work on the Botin project and collaborate on research examining the role of emotions, emotion skills, and self-regulation in the creative process, as well as participate in evaluation of educational programs aimed at teaching creativity and emotion skills through the arts. Right before joining YCEI, she was a lab manager at the Social Morality and Identity Lab and Collective Cognition Lab at New York University. Beyond the academic work, Yifei has interests in Chinese calligraphy, music, theater arts, architecture, travel and tea&coffee.
