A CT boy fell 15 feet onto cement and fractured his skull. His mom says doctors are ‘optimistic.’
Dr. James Dodington, Medical director of the Center for Injury and Violence Prevention at Yale New Haven Hospital, said it’s important that parents don’t, “beat themselves up” over such accidents and that for children 0-14 the risk of falls is “elevated in warmer months.”
Dodington, a pediatric emergency specialist, spoke to the Courant generally about falls, not about Passmore’s case.
