Pietro de Camilli, MD, John Klingenstein Professor of Neuroscience and professor of Cell Biology, was recently awarded the van Deenen Medal from the Institute of Biomembranes at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. The medal recognizes de Camilli's outstanding contributions to our understanding of the fundamental mechanisms underlying membrane trafficking.
