  • 00:16I wanna speak about a
  • 00:17program called the bring me
  • 00:18back home program.
  • 00:20This is a registry for
  • 00:21Connecticut residents
  • 00:23which allows law enforcement
  • 00:25to access information to assist
  • 00:27in the recovery of missing
  • 00:28or wandering persons.
  • 00:30We know that six out
  • 00:32of ten individuals living with
  • 00:33a diagnosis will wander.
  • 00:35So the Alzheimer's Association worked
  • 00:37for several months with the
  • 00:39state police department to create
  • 00:41a profile of questions
  • 00:43that will help expediate that
  • 00:44search if someone were to
  • 00:46go missing.
  • 00:47We wanna make sure the
  • 00:48person, sends in a photo,
  • 00:50information about their medical history,
  • 00:52where did they used to
  • 00:53work, what were what was
  • 00:54their former occupation,
  • 00:56what were some other hobbies
  • 00:57or locations that they like
  • 00:58to, go to such as
  • 01:00a park or a favorite
  • 01:01restaurant.
  • 01:03Again, this program is in
  • 01:04partnership with the state police
  • 01:06and you would register that
  • 01:07yourself on c t dot
  • 01:09gov. Again, bring me back
  • 01:11home.
