- 00:16I wanna speak about a
- 00:17program called the bring me
- 00:18back home program.
- 00:20This is a registry for
- 00:21Connecticut residents
- 00:23which allows law enforcement
- 00:25to access information to assist
- 00:27in the recovery of missing
- 00:28or wandering persons.
- 00:30We know that six out
- 00:32of ten individuals living with
- 00:33a diagnosis will wander.
- 00:35So the Alzheimer's Association worked
- 00:37for several months with the
- 00:39state police department to create
- 00:41a profile of questions
- 00:43that will help expediate that
- 00:44search if someone were to
- 00:46go missing.
- 00:47We wanna make sure the
- 00:48person, sends in a photo,
- 00:50information about their medical history,
- 00:52where did they used to
- 00:53work, what were what was
- 00:54their former occupation,
- 00:56what were some other hobbies
- 00:57or locations that they like
- 00:58to, go to such as
- 01:00a park or a favorite
- 01:01restaurant.
- 01:03Again, this program is in
- 01:04partnership with the state police
- 01:06and you would register that
- 01:07yourself on c t dot
- 01:09gov. Again, bring me back
- 01:11home.
