Biography
Dr. Hutchinson graduated as a biology major and German minor from Fordham College and went to medical school at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He worked for a year in Switzerland and then returned to the United States for his residency and chief residency at the Yale-affiliated, Hospital of St. Raphael. He completed his fellowship at Yale. Dr. Hutchinson has, in addition to being Rheumatology Section Chief at that hospital until 2013, maintained a community practice of rheumatology and a resident's rheumatology clinic at SRC. He joined the section's full time faculty in 2014 as a clinician at the Orchard Street location. He has had a number of resident and fellowship teaching awards and has been in the Castle Connolly "Top Doc Metro Area" for the past 17 years.
