Intended for clinicians and other family service professionals working with parents and families of young children, a new training series has been announced by the Minding the Baby™ (MTB) National Office. The first session in the series will be held later this month, and the sessions will be focused on clinical approaches for working with parents, informed by MTB home visitation model.
Twelve 2-hour sessions are scheduled between October 2022 and June 2023, with a registration fee of $60 per person per training. The first session, The Relational Foundations of Reflection with MTB co-founder Arietta Slade, Ph.D. will be held live via Zoom on October 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. until noon eastern time. All sessions are recorded so that registrants who are unable to attend live can still participate.
Run jointly through the Yale Child Study Center and Yale School of Nursing, the MTB National Office was established in 2016 with the aim of broadening the reach of MTB home visiting services to include replication, training, and dissemination. Direct service is no longer provided in the United States.
Individualized training or consultation to meet organizational or program-specific needs is also available. Visit the MTB website to learn more and e-mail the MTB National Office with any questions.
