Sofia Miguez

Sofia Miguez grew up in Miami, FL and attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate education where she received a B.A. in Psychology.

Currently, she is a 1st year medical student conducting research in the Ophthalmology and Visual science department. Her research interests include ocular imaging, drivers of uveal melanoma metastases, patient anxiety during cataract surgery, and the social determinants of vision health.
